Forsythia's Second Bloom



 I didn't know that Forsythia bloomed again in Autumn.  I am used to their brilliant yellow arching wands in spring.  What a surprise to see the delicate yellow blossoms amid the yellowing leaves.

Ah, forsythia. I used to make princess crowns out of it and run around my yard with it in my hair when I was a little kid. I think I even have pictures of that someplace.
